The multi-role DT Beachlander has been awarded Superyacht Times Tender of the Month for February! See the full write up below or click here for the original online article.

This month we step on board the awesome 9.8-metre DT Beachlander from Pascoe International. The 9.8-metre vessel is the latest model from the British company, Pascoe International, and has been designed to be a true multi-role tender, offering the space and layout to cater perfectly to the requirements of any superyacht.

Currently used as a tender by one of the world's most talked-about and distinctive superyachts - the 106-metre Oceanco sailing yacht, Black Pearl - the 9.8-metre DT Beachlander tender offers everything you could want from a tender and more. With a weight of 4000kg, and a maximum beam of 2.95-metres, the 9.8-metre tender has a total of 520hp and an impressive maximum speed of 45 knots, which is bound to get your pulse racing on the water!

Part of the DT range of tenders from Pascoe International, the 9.8-metre tender has been carefully designed to be dry riding and provide excellent sea keeping whilst setting new standards in the level of finish demanded by the world’s finest yachts.

Seating up to 14 people, the hull features an innovative hydraulic opening bow ramp to enable elegant and safe access to the beach, whilst also offering a flexible deck layout for guest transportation. Newly designed, the wide hull and 'D' shape buoyancy tubes provide a significant increase in internal volume over a conventional tube, allowing guests and crew to move more freely around the tender as they please.

The DT Beachlander incorporates styling by the renowned British studio, Ken Freivokh Design who are also responsible for the design of the mothership Black Pearl. This ensures that the craft is tailored to reflect the mothership’s exact style and detailing and is a true representation of Black Pearl when collecting guests from the dock.

In addition, the tender has also been designed for use by guests as a base for exploring areas that the 106-metre mothership cannot access. Her special features on board are numerous and include a beautifully appointed day head, fridge for refreshments, a sophisticated AV suite and a hydraulic bimini for shade.

With so many cool touches on board and an exquisite level of finish, the 9.8-metre DT Beachlander has many standout features in her design including a phenomenal sound system and hidden sun loungers located within the aft sun pad.

In addition, her bimini also lowers at the touch of a button to reduce height for more compact stowage on board. Furthermore, her high-tech joystick control system allows each sterndrive to move independently for full 360-degree control, enabling the tender to move sideways, diagonally and rotate, all without the use of a bow or stern thruster.
